Not sure where propster got his info. I'm not saying he is wrong, but... I have a 3 bank Dual Pro charger with 2 deep cycle AGM's and one conventional lead acid starting batt. It works just fine for 3 years now. AGM batteries are lead acid just packed in fiberglass matting.
