I picked up a 681vs this past august that has a 05 135 evinrude on it. Just wondering if someone has a similar set up and what speeds u are getting. I am getting about 48 mph with a stock aluminum prop at about 4500 to 4700 rpm. Thinking about getting a stainless prop this spring to get a little more speed. Not sure what pitch to get. Any suggestions?[/QUOTE You should be able to run that motor at higher rpm then 4700 , also a stainless prop will get you some higher mph. Get on the phone with a Evinrude Dealer and get some info from them.
