My outboard has oil injection. The gas tank is only a 5 or 6 gallon, so mixing oil would not be a big deal for me.

Just wanted to get opinions on if I should disconnect the oil inject. What are everybody's thoughts?

I guess my reason is just that the motor is more than 20 years old, and it seems like the oil pump is something that could go. Also, like I stated, at those amounts, I would not be bothered by mixing.
