Down easts are attached with stainless bolts and stainless washer and nylock nut on the back side.

I do not have a lot of time invested in the sport trac system for muskies, but walleyes yes. Have pulled boards with crankbaits and obviously there is no stress.

For muskies I have trolled headlocks, jakes, and grandmas up to 4mph with no issues, but have not caught a fish trolling yet, but I also do not spend much time at it.

I do not see a lot of flex in this setup and I am confident it will hold up nicely. I also use good reels with good drags which will also help.

I have tightened down the drag and pulled very, very hard on a rod in the rod holder and it flexes, but not a lot.
