Cruising around this morning during no wake, all was well. Was killing time before taking boat to dock at friend's place for fireworks tonight. I throttled full when time to go there. I arrived at the dock, trimmed up in shallows and shut down. Getting stuff out of boat and noticed oil streaming out where hoses come out of engine. Opened up engine and saw oil reservoir cap had cracked open while still threaded on the reservoir.

What is the on water fix, if any? If there is no short term or easy fix, I think I'm going to have oil all over engine again when I go to trailer the boat to get to shop, right?

Any advice and sharing of experiences would be appreciated.
