I recently purchased a Skeeter MX1825 with the F-150 Yamaha four stroke on the back. The boat comes with a 19 pitch 13 1/14" stainless prop. As I understand it Yamaha/Skeeter designed this boat around this motor. With that being said I am able to pull 49 mph loaded with two guys, but the holes hot really seems to be lacking. It's not the worst I have ever experienced but I was hoping for a lot better. I'm told if I down pitch to a 17 that I will drastically lose on the top. Looking to see your thoughts on how much I might lose or if I just live with it. Thanks in advance.
