Location: SE Wisc and Vilas County		what they don't tell you in the manual is you need to wire a switch into the power cable to turn the antenna off when the boat is being stored. the switch will shut the antenna down other wise it is always on and searching for a signal. that is how most of them get burned out. I have one and everything is still working like brand new. just my two cents.
