Is this a leaf spring trailer? Or Torsion Axle? Tandem axles?

Both sides showing severe wear on the outside?

Usually, the axle bends over time, and the wear is on the inside.

Outer tire wear could be a couple issues. Severe toe-in on that side. Bent Axle. Worn suspension components.

You can check some of this out your self. Jack it up, and remove the tires, and check all the spring hangers and bushings for slop and looseness. Put a level vertically on the tire to see if it is cambered out, or Positive Camber.

I'd get it to a frame and axle shop.
