I'd suggest a dual purpose battery. Cranking plus deep cycle. Lots of good batteries out there. If you live near Milwaukee, go see the guys at Remy Battery on 43rd and Lincoln.

Dekka is an excellent battery. Interstate and Northern are also decent, and both offer dual purpose. I also see Fleet Farm is now offering AGM batteries at a competitive price.
