In the end there is probably no substitute for the tedium of elbow grease. I redid a Ranger 681 last year and am right now, this week, redoing the floor on a Lund Pro V. I am going into day three with a hand scraper. Not much fun, but I've learned the results are worth it. And boy, those scrapers really do work. Hoping to start with the new flooring tomorrow. Going to commercial grade vinyl. No more carpet!
