Subject: Re: re carpeting and decking my boat

I tried a few methods with little luck last year.. previous owner had a poorly constructed deck on 14 foot aluminum boat with indoor/outdoor green 'grass' carpeting over OSB... Had glue from the carpet on top 12-14 inches of inside of boat. I ended up using a paint scraper and some type of stripper product, don't remember what... got 'most' of it off, but its still there. Any angle grinder attachment seemed to gouge the soft aluminum and finally had enough. still looks awful, but doesn't affect function. This spring I might try those rubber discs OR Santa bought a dremel this year, so may see if they have some attachment that works... Please post results if you find a method that works for you!
