I would change it out to the recommended fuse size for your specific unit. Probably a 3 amp. Fuses are cheap compared to what they're protecting. If you continue to pop fuses, you have underlying issues that need to be addressed. A larger fuse is fine if that circuit is feeding multiple sources. Just make sure the individual units are fused to their spec at the unit.
