If you plan on using the vinegar water mix keep in mind that it will get rid of water spots very nicely, but it will also take the wax back off too... I had a black wakeboard boat that would get waterspotted bad vinegar water mix was the only way to get the waterspots off but it was never that super slick surface again after the vinegar did its job

for what its worth I wax my boat 1-2 times a year and wipe it down good everytime i leave the launch my ranger is black but the glass flake really hides stuff so i dont use the vinegar anymore
