Yah. Exactly my point. You say approximately 40 gallons of fuel per gallon of XD100 ... That's a 40:1 ratio. That's not "sipping" oil. That's burning oil in my opinion.



I stand to be corrected on my last post as I was typing fast was still thinking about the old boat I owned which had a 20 gallon tank... Mine has a 40 gallon tank and on average if I am running WOT on LOTW I will use 1 gallon for every 2 fill ups at youngs bay. So that would put me at 80:1. Reading on other forums 60:1-100:1 seems to be the norm depending on your fishing habits. They both have their positives for sure, but mine has been rock solid and I guess it's up the the owner if they want to spend the money on adding oil for the 2 Stroke, or changing oil every 50 hours on a 4 stroke. In the end cost wise for oil changes versus adding xd100 would more than likely be pretty comparable.
