It's a busy time right now but it might be worthwhile checking with some of the guys who wrap race cars. Sounds a bit "out of the box" but you might find something a little more to your liking price wise. If they are looking to branch out a bit from racing a boat is a good niche market to get into.

I talked to a guy last summer about the possibility of wrapping a boat. What would the logistics be, could he do it, etc. and he was excited at the thought of doing one. Haven't pulled the trigger on it but when the day comes to do a boat renovation this is the avenue I plan on taking. About 20 years ago guys started getting away from painted letters to vinyl and now just about everyone is having their cars completely wrapped. A boat would provide some unique challenges for someone used to working with flatter pieces of tin but it's doable. The added bonus is you can truly customize what you want done to your boat as opposed to having a mass produced look to it.
