The lake in question is only 1200 acres... You will be able to go where you want, although fishing the windy side will be a little more challenging...doable, though.

When you get on a lake of that size, you'll be thinking..."what was I so worried about?"

It won't be long on that body of water and you'll be looking at bigger waters as well. Heck, for years boats like we see today were nonexistent, and all that was out there for fishing rigs were 14 foot v-hull boats made of wood, and they would be out on bodies of water like leech lake with 10hp motors, and they did just fine. The learned to work the water both into the waves, with the waves, and running troughs....can be a bit of enjoyment in some situations.
