Just make sure you have all of your safety equipment. If the waves pick up, put your life jacket on. I fish Green Bay in a 14' deep V, with a 25 horse. I try not to stray too far from land. it sure is unnerving to get caught 2 miles from land when 3 footers start rolling in. Put your life jacket on, and take your time getting back in. Be smart.
