My 105 lb 36 volt, Xi5 arrived at my house yesterday. Very excited to try out this new trolling motor. Been in touch with the folk at MotorGuide for awhile about this motor and glad I'm getting the opportunity to use it this year. Lots of great features and it also links up with Lowrance units. Like most of the high tech boat toys, I will probably use about 10% of this trolling motors capabilities but I am definitely excited about the quicker response time while turning, more efficient with battery usage and the wireless pedal so I can move around my boat a lot easier. I will definitely post how this motor performs once I get it out on the water...but I'm sure it will be awesome.
