Location: Central Wisconsin		On my Jon boat, I mounted my motor to a 1/4" piece of aluminum diamond plate slightly wider than the base of the trolling motor and then I was able to offset the removable section of the quick release and still use the existing holes for the stationary part of the quick release. I'd attach a pic but it's buried in storage.
