Location: Sun Prairie, WI		Its cheap insurance! Id never trailer without one. My boat was rear ended and I believe the transom saver saved my already weak transom. If you look at the amount of weight back there bouncing around its definitely working on that transom. I think its best to have the weight supported and braced to the trailer not back to the boat. Just my $.02
