I found that the kickers really need a different prop to get good speed. The standard prop is for slow trolling with great thrust and control. Not so great for speed. Even the 9.9 ProKicker on my 1890 was wide open to get above 3.5 MPH. You can get a lower pitched prop to get some more speed at less than WOT. Just my thoughts.
