Location: NoDak | I know that the xi5 can spot lock "electric anchor" but I do not think it can follow contours. Not too worried about it. The Ipilot will do all of its features with a lowrance unit but Ipilot LINK will not be able to go to a GPS point on the sonar. It can save waypoints on the troller its self 6 spots, I love the anchor mode but I don't save spots just set spot lock by resetting "A" it's faster for me. I loved my I pilot so much I went and got a link head unit and a 959 to run it. Maybe buying a 7 inch 2d humminbird to run only GPS and the troller in addition to the lowrance units you already have, More detail with 2 full image displays and the 7 inch 859 2d sonar only runs $650? And I love Minnkotas trollers performance and customer service not to mention there are good rebates till 6-1-14 |
