As with any 20 year old boat, I would have a inspection of the hull done by a 3rd party before entering into a contract to upgrade your motor. I know 1992 does not sound like a long time ago, but that boat is in its 23rd season. Don't let the selling dealer do it, he just wants to sell the motor.
