Location: Madison | Recon makes a 17' that will hold rods over 9', but I've never fished (or even seen) one. If you're close to a dealer you may want to check them out.
I looked pretty hard at the skeeter MX 1825, but ultimately didn't like the side locker as much as I'd hoped. Didn't like the idea of storing long rods bent against the hull, maybe it's fine but I was concerned about damage when running through big waves. Haven't heard of any problems with that though, so climb in one with a few long rods and see how you like getting them in and out of the side locker. Might be just what you're looking for. |
