I have been in the market for a new muskie rig for 2 years now but I have run into the problem that few of the boats are offering rod storage over 8'. (I would want a boat no bigger than 17 to 18 ft, preferably glass with a 150, single axle so I can move it by hand) [None of the big names offer good size rod storage. [Lund, Alumacraft, Crestliner, Ranger, or Tuffy] and they are all very nice boats except for the short rod storage.

With all the guys going to longer rods it is almost a bit frustrating finding a rig that works for muskie fishing anymore. I don't fish three guys much but if I do it doesn't take long to have $2K worth of >8' rods in a boat and it sure would be nice to be able to put them away.

I know it can be done because lots of guys have modified old rigs .

Does anyone know of such a rig?

Winter is getting old, have a good day.
