Can I suggest an iPilot capable, side imaging humminbird in the console? The iPilot link comes with a 30 foot ethernet cable and can network to any/all units in the boat. Then take the Lowrance, buy a new us2 adapter, and put that in the front. That way, you get both iPilot capabilities and SI capabilities, only having purchased one new unit. In the future, if the opportunity arises, you could get a new, networkable humminbird for the bow to replace the lowrance.
