remember.
weight on axles.
singles 3500lbs. you must include the trailer weight,boat weight etc.
tandems with e rated tires -10ply will give you insurance.. on long hauls hot weather its comforting to know..
another major consideration is BRAKES.if your hauling on hi-ways and distance I would definatly go tandem with an excellent surge brake system with the largest actuaater valve available.not having problems mean you have been adamant on your safety.
