Judging by that picture it looks like my skimmer transducer might interfere with the lss-2. Or is that little bit nothing to worry about?


It's been a while and I'm not sure, but seem to remember Lowrance didn't want those transducers located close to each other (definitely check that out before mounting). If you don't have a kicker, you could locate the LSS-2 on the opposite side (can't tell from the picture).

I bought that boat used and the existing skimmer transducer was located right where the LSS-1 is now. I moved the skimmer to same location on the opposite side as a backup, then added a shoot through the hull transducer for the LCX 113 that I run along side the HDS (I only use my HDS for structure scan, weather, and GPS back-up).
