When you mean "step" do you mean the flat area above the plug and right under the motor?


Yes. The plug and livewell ports are just above the "pad." That's what the boat sits on while on plane. The step is the "stepped" up area aft of the pad, in front of the motor. The transom comes up off the step. The set back is the furthest aft part of your transom where the motor actually mounts.
