My Tahoe came with a set of good looking Bridgestones on it. They were the 10-ply truck tires. Stiff as a cobb! I also noted on some of the backroads the mud filled the tread like crazy and traction was completely lost. They did not last long on the highway though so as soon as they got close...gone. Point was I could not believe how they bogged in the mud and then hang on to it for miles before it would finally all come off. Yep at the right tire pressure.
