I have a 2000 Ranger 692 VS. It is a fantastic boat. Some of the older 692's have the ankle breaker front casting deck but if you can find a 98-2000 model they have almost the same floor plan as the 620 series boats. They have huge front casting decks, huge rear decks if you have the removable deck insert(or just make one) and handles any water you throw at it. I can post some pics of mine if you would like to see the lay out.
