Goodyear tires are not made in the US anymore, from what I was told about 5-6 years ago.

I've heard good things about Maxxis tires. Carlisle had issues, but I believe they made changes in design and production a few years ago. Have heard some positive stuff the past several years.

I got 5 years of good service from the tires that came on my TuffTrail tandem axle trailer. As far as I know, the current owner still has them on two years later. Sorry, I don't know the MFG, but I can find out.

Biggest thing with trailer tires is to keep them inflated to max. If they're run soft, they get hot and come apart. Doesn't matter who makes them.
