So my new to me boat has a livewell/baitwell combo in the back. The previous owner never used it for that, instead chose to put the gas tank for the kicker in it. That is certainly handy too, but I would like to go back to using it.

The problem I am considering is that over the years, it looks like gas and oil have spilled and created some film and nastiness on the inside of the livewell. I don't want this to kill fish or bait, so do you guys know of any good process/product that will work on cleaning up this petroleum based problem?

Thanks!
