Location: Sun Prairie, WI		I would look at that transom very closely. I just welded the transom cap back on after a buddy had to cut it off to replace the transom in a 98 tournament. I was not impressed with the way the transom sat in the boat. Seams as if its left totally open for water to get to it. I would raise the motor and pull down on the lower unit and watch closely to see if the transom flexes and all.
