Location: Hayward, WI		I have tried to measure this before with a clamp on amp meter but got weird readings. I believe that is due to how the Maximizer works and pulses in these. With max draw of 56 it should draw about .70 amps per lb of thrust, but the maximizer is more efficient at lower speeds. I asked a Minnkota rep last spring and he said that it should draw no more then 18 amps at 5.
