Well I got into the trim motor, and whoa nelly, are those brushes worn!! There is probably only 2mm left before it gets to the hole the wire is mounted to. On the down side, the com is pretty worn, too. I wonder if these electric motor places can replace/refurb the com as well?

Well anyway, I'll def be headed there on Monday instead of just ordering a new trim motor. Cheers to you propster!
