Location: Minnesota: where it's tough to be a sportsfan!		I've always put moth balls into plastic trays and set them in three to four places in our boats before we tarp them up for the winter. We have never had an issue. However at the cabin I set mothball packets within an inch of one of the active area traps, and low and behold three mice last fall eating right next to the mothballs.
