Let's just say you have your starting and trolling battery hooked together, if you have 24 volt. That is not a good idea to do. Have your trolling batteries and starting battery separate. Also take your plus cable off when charging the starting battery. **Charging with the plus cable on can cause the rectifier to fry.** Need 2 batteries if you are running 24 volt and 1 cranking battery. Just me talking
