i have been running a 1760 tiller since 2008 (480 hours on the yamaha tach)in MANY different bodies of water in MANY different water conditions and i can tell you it is just what tuffy says it is, the 17 footer that thinks it's a 20.last year on eagle i ran some huge waves that blew up in a storm that scared the !#@& out of me[us].just ask ryan or allan about that thrill ride!it is the smoothest riding 17' boat i've ever been in.it sits low and flat when fishing and with the right prop gets up high on plane.i use it to fish walleye on the miississippi, walleye, pike, bass and crappie in rainy and muskie where ever i can.everybody who fishes with me comments on how nice the boat rides and fishes.it also works pretty good for playing on the water too:)
