Location: Land of the Musky		My bendix would not engage once. I took a look with the cover off and watched it. It was not rising (I think). So, I sprayed it down with some WD40 and worked on it for a while and it finally started to function correctly. My motor is a 60 Mariner and its a 92 I think so mine may not be setup like yours. Worth looking at.
