1. You should not connect your TM batteries in parallel for 24 volts. That would be 12volts.
2. Never connect your electronics, especially sonars, to your TM batteries.
3. When you start your big motor, the voltage drops enough that the sonar freezes. It's just enough to not let it do a complete shutdown, and it freezes. I suggest you replace your cranking battery with a newer, bigger cranking battery, or better yet, a dual purpose battery.
4. Also, make sure your connections to the big motor are clean and mechanically sound.
