Not to put the fear in this but take it in and have it checked out. I watched a 2001 150 Ficht go up in flames earlier this year. The boat ran fine all the way across the lake and when they were pulling into their fishing spot the motor started sputterring and in this case wound up pumping gas into the lower housing of the motor while they were fishing. Well when it finally turned over to head back to the trailer it went up in flames. Hopefully yours is something simple but after seeing that I would take it in to get it looked at.
The good news of it was that everyone was alright and people were very nearby to help out. Again not to put fear in it but rather get it checked out.
