Location: Wisconsin		I am pretty sure you can't network an Elite 5 unit to a nmea network that would tie into an engine monitor. I think only the HDS series would allow that. Then you would need an interface connector that would snap into the engines output and then to the nmea network. I think one of the differences of the elite series to the HDS is the capability to network.
