Location: Savage, MN | My wife and I just built a new house in Savage, MN and we discussed with our builder the option to put a bigger 3rd stall in which they were happy to do, at a cost of couse. I too had the go as big as possible but due to city codes, etc. we were limited, but still far bigger than the "stock" garages they include. Make sure you put a minimum of a 9' wide door on the 3rd stall, the 8's that typically come with it aren't enough. And if I could do it again I would put 8' tall doors in, totally escaped me in the planning process. Good luck. |
