Mudsledhen, what works for you might not work for everyone. I see this as total personal preference as well as dependent on what type of fishing you are doing. Full Windshield all the way for me. Great Lakes fishing as late as December and as early as March the windshield has made a huge difference for me. They do take up space but its a loss ill take, and you learn how to adapt. My preference is to have one.
