as stated by others, there is plenty of room to cast in the 619/20/21 Ranger models even without the rear deck piece put in. I don't get to fish out of the back of my boat very often but when I do I just love it back there...

As far as the windshields go...Riding behind a full windshield is a dream. I own the double shields and wish I had a full. The ranger "wind" shields only do so much, in bad weather or when driving fast it is nicer to have the full shield protecting you in my opinion
