Just moved to New New York State, 16 1/2' Smokercraft was a side Console I converted to a tiller. The motor is a 25 Mercury 2001 2 stroke, which I have had on three boats and it runs strong. But this has a 82" beam and weighs 625 empty so once I added the Batts (2) charger seats 10 Gallons Gas, and Gear and Outboard I'm guessing it's close to 1100 lbs...The Gps reads from 7 to 9 mph after trying several heights and motor pin positions. It did come up to 10 mph once when I put a 2x2 pc. of wood on top of the transom to raise the height 20" transom and long shaft motor I do have a Stingray Hydrofoil on the boat and was going to try and remove that. It does not come up on plane at all Thanks JB
