That should be pretty easy Mike. I know guys that took the center bench out of a 16ft flat and didn't add stringers. The only thing that might be tough is finding the tiller arm for your motor. What blind are you putting on it? I've got the Avery quick set on mine and love it. It sets up in about 10 seconds and keeps the wind out. I've hunted out of the beaver tail blinds and they're pretty nice to.


The boat actually comes with a custom made blind fitted for the boat. I don't believe the boat was originally set up as a console, but it was turned into one by the previous owner. I believe I should be able to remove the console with little issue and the boat would still be the same, structurally as it was when it was built. I could be wrong. I don't pick the boat up until the 6th so I'll likely no more then.
