I'm looking at storing my boat in a slip on a dock with no power. I'm wondering if any of you deal with this situation, and how you go about getting your deep cycle batteries charged. I looked into solar panels, but it seems like you need to spend a pile of money for a setup that would do anything to charge deep cycles.

I also looked into some cheap generators, but I'm not sure if that's the best/safest route either.

I have 2 deep cycles on the boat, and I'm really not looking forward to lugging them a half mile back and forth to charge them.

Any advice would be appreciated.

I've been using this http://www.stealth1charging.com/Data.html on board charger for years... obviously depends on how much casting/trolling/running you do.
