Hiya,

If you plan to keep the boat for a long time, I'd pony up the cash and get a custom one. I purchased mine in 2005, have stored the boat outside for the last 4 winters, and the cover doesn't have a flaw or rip in it yet.

The one nice thing about a custom cover is most will have some support system to ensure water runs off the cover and will not pool up. It will also not billow while traveling down the road, and depending on who you go with, may have vents placed in it as well.

I went with canvas craft out of Ramsey MN. Turn around time was all of 4 days. Lots of colors to choose from and different fabrics as well.

I believe it is money well spent.
